The Multi Soil Monitor is a special monitor to determine the soil and stain removal in dry cleaning processes and in washing processes for wool, coloured fabrics and other delicate fabrics. The monitor has many different types of soil and gives therefore a good indication of the effectiveness of a process.

The monitor consists of a 100% polyester cloth, on which a large number of different types of soil have been attached. The kinds of soil used can be compared with soil that could be found on e.g. jerseys, trousers and other clothing. This makes the Multi Soil Monitor very suitable for measuring and monitoring the soil and stain removal of dry cleaning processes and washing processes for wool, coloured fabrics and other delicate fabrics.

The Multi Soil Monitor is very easy to use. The monitor is added to the load and washed once under normal circumstances. After the process the monitors are sent back to us for measuring.

The removal of the different kinds of soil is measured and calculated as a percentage of the maximum soil removal that is possible (0 = no removal, 100% = complete removal).

 

The Multi Soil Monitor has a whole range of different types of soil ranging from bleachable, fatty to all kinds of natural substances.

With the Multi Soil Monitor, an objective evaluation can be given of the detergency of a cleaning process. The Multi Soil Monitor can also be used to compare different cleaning processes with each other.

When the goal is to improve the quality of a process, the monitor can be used to vary the process. In this way the quality is always kept on the desired standard.

 

The tristimulus blue remission of the washed monitors is measured with a tristimulus type colorimeter. Cleaning Consultancy Delft bv. also sells a low cost portable tristimulus colorimeter.

The monitors can be bought with and without analysis. Reports are available in the next languages: Dutch, English, French and German.

 

One set consists of three monitors. In order to get an accurate result all three monitors must be used simultaneously in the same process.

The monitors are sealed in an airtight package. This package also prevents UV-light penetrating. In this way the quality of the monitors is guaranteed for a long period.

As with all our measuring materials, this monitor is delivered with a form that gives instructions and can be used to fill in details of the cleaning process.
